Transportation

Tyler Albrechtsen grew up in California. He lived in the Dominican Republic for two years as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and he has traveled extensively throughout the Western Hemisphere. He graduated cum laude from Brigham Young University with a degree in Latin American Studies in 2005. Following graduation he worked in the health care industry as a licensed skilled nursing facility administrator. Tyler is married and has one daughter. He plans to spend part of this summer in England studying at Cambridge and the other part working as an extern for a healthcare company in California. Tyler was a great help to the Executive Committee during the 2010 Symposium as a student volunteer, and accepted a position on the Transportation Team for 2011, which involved coordinating student volunteers in the transport of some 85 Symposium participants and guests between the Salt Lake International airport and Provo, and between events in Provo and Salt Lake City during the six days of Symposium and its associated activities.
