Cami Schiel grew up in Seattle, WA. She traveled all around Europe with nursing internships in France, Finland, and Russia before graduating from BYU as a Registered Nurse. She worked as a nurse at Provo Rehabilitation and Nursing and the Utah State Hospital before returning to BYU. She is currently in her second year of a joint degree in law and business. She plans to use her JD/MBA to improve healthcare processes. She has interned with Intermountain Health Care gaining experience in privacy laws and process improvement. As a first-year law student she used her French proficiency as a volunteer at the ICLRS Symposium, and loved the international collaboration of religiously-minded leaders. She hopes to champion religious freedom in her future career as a healthcare leader. She is also on the board of the Business Law Club.
