The success of the International Law and Religion Symposium each year is due in large part to the planning and performance of a group of outstanding students from the BYU Law School who, acting under the direction of Center Associate Director Elizabeth Clark, serve as members of the Student Executive Committee. Cara Duchene was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona. She is a third year BYU Law student. During high school, she went on service missions to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Juneau, Alaska through a non-denominational church, and later served a Spanish-speaking full-time mission in Houston, TX for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Bradley Rebeiro is from Los Angeles, California. He received a Bachelor degree in Political Science with an emphasis in political philosophy, and a Minor in Spanish from Brigham Young University. Joshua Prince was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. Upon graduating high school, he enrolled in Brigham Young University. After a year of study, he served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Donetsk, Ukraine. In Ukraine, Joshua developed a deep love for both the Ukrainian people and the Russian language that he spoke.
