Chair, Master Schedule

Cecily graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a BA in Political Science and a minor in Middle Eastern and North African Studies. After her undergraduate studies, Cecily served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Thailand, where she grew to love and appreciate Asian languages and cultures. Cecily was a fellow with the International Center for Law and Religion Studies in 2011. She has interned at the LDS Area Legal Counsel Office in Hong Kong as well as the Office of the United States Attorneys in Salt Lake City. Cecily was a volunteer for the annual International Law and Religion Symposium during her years in law school, serving as co-chair of Master Schedule on the Student Executive Committee for the 2011 Symposium, and returning in 2012 with the heavy assignment to lead the Student Executive Committee as Chair of Master Schedule, responsible for supervising the coordination of all Symposium events, including delegate schedules. Cecily is also the current president of the BYU chapter of Women in the Law. She is married to Brenden Scott, and they are the parents of a son, Timmy.
