Symposium 2012: Student Volunteers
Image for Symposium 2012: Student Volunteers

Every year in early October the International Center for Law and Religion Studies at Brigham Young University's J. Reuben Clark Law School welcomes student volunteers from the Law School and from the wider University community to assist in the management of the International Law and Religion Symposium. Recruited and organized by the Symposium Executive Committee Recruitment Team, approximately 50 students provide transportation, interpretation, and other assistance for delegates during the Symposium and the two days before and after, as delegates travel to and from the airport and enjoy Symposium activities in Provo and Salt Lake City. The success of a conferences as large and complex as the annual Symposium would be impossible without the generous and competent assistance of these students. Both the Center staff and the delegates, who come from 30 to 40 different countries each year, are profoundly grateful for this service.
