 Co-Chair, Documents/University Involvement

Lorie Hobbs raised her family of six children and then returned to Brigham Young University, graduating in 2005 with a degree in American Studies. In 2007 she entered the J. Reuben Clark Law School to fulfill a long time desire of completing her Juris Doctorate degree.  After her first year she was a judicial clerk and found that she really enjoyed the courtroom.  This past summer she interned with the Utah Crime Victims Legal Clinic where she found great satisfaction in working to protect the rights of crime victims.  While in law school Lorie has involved herself in a number of co-curricular activities, even earning a place on the BYU National Moot Court team.  She volunteered with the International Center for Law & Religion Annual Symposium during her first and second years in law school and is excited to serve on the Executive Committee for the 2009 Symposium.
